Battling Robots

Launched in 2002, Battling Robots has become not only a popular participation project but also a great event for spectators. Sponsored by Noritake Itron, Battling Robots attracts a sell-out crowd to Great Yarmouth’s Hippodrome to watch more than 20 teams from Norfolk schools take part in obstacle courses and head-to-head confrontations using remote-controlled robots. All the robots have been constructed by the students, with help and advice from engineers.
